Organised by Mix Interiors, the Mixology North16 awards are created for the dynamic and innovative interior design community. Desso's Gold Collection has been shortlisted for two categories: 'Product of the year - Flooring' and 'Environmental and Sustainability'. The winners will be announced at the Mixology awards ceremony, which takes place at Manchester Central on 8 December with over 700 members of the design community in attendance.
The Gold collection has also made it into the top 50 finalists for Tomorrow's Contract Floors Awards 2017. The shortlist is made up of products and services which have featured in the magazine over the last 12 months or have been nominated by readers. The finalists will be featured in the Tomorrow's Contract Floors (TCF) Awards 2017 Guide. Following the release of this publication, TCF will open up an online readers' vote in January. The top three will then be presented with a trophy later in the year.
The Gold Collection is one of just a handful of products or product groups to have been awarded the Gold Cradle to Cradle® certificate. The collection offers many benefits, including: 100% positively defined materials; 100% regenerated ECONYL® yarns; an average of 80% reusable materials; an average of 52% recycled material; very low VOC emissions.
