Desso, the global carpet, carpet tiles and sports pitches company is exhibiting at the NeoCon world trade fair in Chicago (9-11 June 2014) - one of the largest commercial interiors related events in the United States.
Following a recent agreement with The Dixie Group, a leading US carpet company, Desso has stepped up its ability to reach the US market with its wide range of environmentally responsible and popular carpet ranges. Through this agreement, Desso is working with Masland Contract, a division of The Dixie Group, strengthening its ability to sell top end Cradle to Cradle® products in the US.

- Desso AirMaster®: specially designed carpet tiles that are eight times more effective at capturing and retaining fine dust in the indoor air than hard flooring and four times more effective than standard carpets[1]. They contain up to 100% regenerated ECONYL® regenerated nylon yarn and is available with Cradle to Cradle® Silver Certified DESSO EcoBase® backing. The health benefits of this patented product resulted in it becoming one of Desso's top sellers.
- Light Transmissive Carpets: a product developed by Desso and Philips that unlocks the potential of LED integration into surfaces and adding an exciting dimension to interior design and space planning. The solution will transform the way people interact with information and their environment in offices, hotels, conference centres and other public buildings. These LED light emitting carpets will provide many benefits in interior design including information, direction, inspiration and safety.
- Visions of: an award winning carpet range inspired by the use of patterns in art, fashion, architecture and interiors. By applying cutting edge production technology and powerful pattern design, 'Visions of...' delivers a unique layered dimension, where the flooring experience changes at every angle it is viewed. It offers three unique designs in flowers, shards and lines.
The above mentioned products were submitted to the Best of NeoCon 2014, an award for the best, new products judged by interior designers, architects, facilities executives and others.
