Discover Merge: a dynamic carpet tile that allows designers to create unique and impactful floors.

18 November 2015 - Merge is the latest addition to Desso’s CARPETECTURE® Transitions collection. The collection has been crafted to soften interiors by introducing organic structures, to help architects and designers bring the outside world in. Merge allows them to play with different textures, colours and patterns.

A natural, organic feel to indoor spaces

Merge brings a natural, organic feel to indoor spaces by blending two different carpet structures in one tile, transitioning from one texture to another. By combining the structures with the other products of the Transitions collection, the new carpet tile allows designers to play with different textures, colours and patterns to create truly unique and impactful floors.

Available in four neutral tones and in two striking shades of green and blue, Merge offers endless design choices with the option of a made-to-order plank format. The structured carpet tile completes the Transitions collection as the ninth product in the range, featuring a kaleidoscope of natural colours and textures.

Helps creating flexible spaces

Merge is particularly suited to office spaces, where the transitioning structures help to create flexible spaces with different areas for working, meeting - or quiet contemplation.

Next to providing a striking look through movement, Merge also embraces Desso's Cradle to Cradle® strategy, as it is standard available with DESSO EcoBase® as a backing. Allowing the backing to be fully recycled in Desso's own production facility. DESSO EcoBase® contains positively defined[1] chalk from Dutch drinking water producers, fully in accordance with Cradle to Cradle® principles.
