Eco-friendly Wilton carpet in KLM's Dreamliner

Desso has developed a special woven carpet for the new KLM Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. The Wilton carpet, developed in partnership with the design studio of well-known Dutch designer Hella Jongerius, is made of 100% ecofriendly Norwegian wool.

Merge is the latest addition to Desso’s CARPETECTURE® Transitions collection. The collection has been crafted to soften interiors by introducing organic structures, to help architects and designers bring the outside world in. Merge allows them to play with different textures, colours and patterns.

The Desso&Ex collection is a new cut pile broadloom carpet and made-to-measure carpet rugs collection that is being launched during the Dutch Design Week 17-25 October. It is the result of a successful collaboration between leading carpets, carpet tiles and sport pitches business, Desso and international interior architects studio, Ex Interiors.
